Requesting a correction or removal

If content here is inaccurate, infringes your copyright, or should not be published, you can ask us to correct or remove it.

What to include

Identify the material and where it appears, describe the problem, state the correction or removal you are requesting, and give us a way to reply to you.

Counter-notice

If material you submitted is removed or access to it is disabled in response to a copyright notice, you may send a counter-notice consistent with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act and 17 U.S.C. §512(g).

As applicable, a counter-notice must include your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. Federal District Court as required by 17 U.S.C. §512(g); and acceptance of service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.

Where the statutory requirements are met, qualifying material may be restored after the applicable statutory waiting period unless the copyright claimant gives notice that court action has been filed. Optruva does not guarantee restoration.
